As a Distributor / Reseller & Value-added manufacturer, we proactively leverage market entry for differentiated products and services towards proper positioning and accelerated sales.

Who We Are?
The name Synergy4Tech represents the synergy and combination of skills and experiences of the company’s founders. The latter are experienced, multi-cultural executives with a successful track record of developing markets and bridging the gap of doing business between East and West.

Kenneth Tan has 20 years of business management experience with a focus on industrial products. Mr. Tan was the Managing Director of a Contract Design and Manufacturer with operations in Singapore, USA, UK and China. He is currently the Director for three companies. Mr. Tan grew up and currently lives in Singapore and holds a Bachelor of Electrical & Computer Engineering from Queensland University of Technology in Australia & an MBA from Rice University in the United States.

Tam Kwok Wai  has almost 26 years of Asia sales and channel experience. He has held Account Director and Country Manager roles with responsibility for operations, P&L and strategic investments / partnerships across ASEAN and Greater China. Mr. Tam grew up and currently lives in Singapore and holds a Bachelor of Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Wollongong University in Australia.

Alex Schroder has 20 years of entrepreneurial general management experience in various industrial and service industries where he has held staff, operational and P&L roles at companies spanning $4M to $260M in revenues and has worked in start-up, turnaround and growth situations. Mr. Schroder grew up in Belgium, currently lives in the United States and holds an MBA from Harvard Business School.

Mal Maginnis has more than 35 years in the Defence, Security, Safety and Technology Industries and is an experienced Executive Director of large technology based businesses. Mr Maginnis is currently the head of a technology development company based in Singapore and was most recently the President of Smiths Detection in London, the global leader in Detection technologies. He held a series of core senior posts including President, Head of Technology, Programs and Products and the head of the largest business unit managing the global military and emergency responder business. His earlier appointments included managing of the Asia Pacific region from early 2001. Prior to joining Smiths Detection, Mal had a wide-ranging professional career in many countries including training in Australia, Asia, UK and US. He has worked as a consultant in the defence and security industry and held executive positions within the Australian Defence Force during his 21 years service with the last appointment as Commanding Officer of the 2nd Cavalry Regiment in Darwin. Mal has extensive experience in turn around business management, technology development for the market and in leading businesses that require drive and passion to succeed.

Peter Harris has more than 30 years experience in the security and defense industry. He is currently the President of Yankee Foxtrot, Inc., a consulting firm dedicated to providing specialized guidance on security management issues worldwide. In the late 1990s, he started the security business at Analogic in his capacity as President of an Analogic subsidiary, International Security Systems (ISS). He subsequently developed and oversaw the company’s strategic direction and expanded its security business. Peter also served as the President & CEO of Rapor, Inc., a designer and manufacturer of sophisticated security portals. In addition, he spent five years at American Science & Engineering (AS&E), an international manufacturer of x-ray inspection systems, as VP Sales & Marketing and as a Board member. As a commercial pilot and naval aviator, Peter is no stranger to aviation and security related issues. He amassed over 2000 hours and 400 carrier landings during a 22-year naval aviation career. He commanded a reserve A‑6 tactical aviation squadron during the first Persian Gulf War and retired with the rank of Captain, USNR. Peter serves on a number of US company boards and is President of his family corporation. He has also been a featured speaker at security trade shows around the world and has been a published author. Peter’s education includes a B.S. from the US Naval Academy in 1976 and a Master’s Degree in National Security from Georgetown University’s School of Foreign Service in 1983. Peter resides in the USA.
